At nellie&me, we use only the highest-grade of leather in the manufacture of our products because we believe the softness and strength of our handbags should never be compromised. Currently, all nellie&me products are available in one of three different leather types, or distinct "feels":

Buttersoft bicycle seat

A naked, drum-dyed leather that's spongy to touch, springing playfully back into place after each squeeze. Expertly worked to recreate the warmth of pre-worn leather. You've met this old friend before.

Pa's favourite chair

A firmer leather that feels cushy and doughy on first touch, while remaining strong and enduring. Has a seasoned, worldly quality that's as comforting as curling up with a good book.

Dimpled babycheek

Soft as silk and light as a feather, our dimpled babycheek finish is characterised by a bubbly texture made up of tiny rumbles that rise and fall beneath the fingers. Plush and creamy, it's still able to withstand a little rough and tumble.
